I would highly recommend this guest house. Value for money, clean, private, modern and quiet.

Moes rondom die huis stap om iemand te kry om in te klok, eerste aand was die inwoners in die gebou langsaan baie raserig tot laat. Die eenheid was skoon en netjies. Geleë in ‘n besige straat, moes soms in die straat staan en wag om by die hek in te kom aangesien inwoner karre by die hek gestaan en wag het.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier, die kinders het veral die swembd geniet. Lesley is awesome en baie behulpsaam.

There is absolutely everything one needs for your stay – from more than 1 extension lead to rusks, fresh milk, clean bedding, a heater and additional blankets. I will definitely return.

Die netheid en gasvryheid laat ‘n mens dadelik welkom voel. Verder was eenheid goed toegerus. daar is beslis geen klagte nie ! Sal weer by 52 on Davidson inboek.

The owner and her nephew, who was running the accommodation in her absence, did everything possible to make our stay successful, as did the other staff.

I stayed at 52 on Davidson for about 2 weeks. I arrived in the afternoon and Lesley was on site to meet and greet me with the cabin clean and ready for occupancy. She had everything organized and even made sure the fridge had milk, water, and juice. She also organized coffee and tea as well as a jar full of rusks. The cabin had the simple needs you would need, towels, toiletries, and toilet paper. There was DSTV and Netflix too! The cabin was well equipped and with well-appointed furniture. The bed was very relaxing and comfortable and a welcome reprieve after working the whole day. The internet was very reliable and did not falter. There was sufficient hot water and the kitchenette was well equipped so you can cook or order in and eat your food warm and fresh. The bathroom and toilet was very clean and the house itself is very neat and clean. The garden outside was amazing and maintained well by the groundskeeper. The cleaning lady always made sure to come on the days I am out so as not to disrupt me when I am staying in to work remotely and study. What was also appealing was the picnic table outside so one can read, work or simply relax outdoors in comfort. I have to say that all in all, my stay was comfortable, quiet and peaceful. I was able to study for my courses, review for exams, and work remotely – in complete peace. The neighbourhood was also very quiet, warm and welcoming and secure. Many residents were taking jogs or walking their dogs in the afternoons so I too was able to exercise without feeling vulnerable – and alone. The accommodation was in a location that is very close to malls, groceries, service stations, laundromats, restaurants, clinics/hospitals, so getting essential services without having to go too far was such a convenience and saved so much time. Security wise, there is electric fencing, an electric gate, and safe off street parking.

There was a strange smell in the house, almost like cat urine, upon arriving in the house. The smell dissapated over the course of the day but then by the next morning there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom. The customer service is excellent and the rest of the house is clean. I do however think that the rate per night is a bit exessive.

Die plek is baie netjies, tenvolle toegerus en skoon. Die tannie is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Sal enige iemand aanbeveel om hier te kom bly.

Goed gemeubileerd en ekstra moeite word gedoen om jou verblyf so huislik as moontlik te maak.

On the first day of our arrival she picked us up. The unit was the best one, could recommend it to my friends snd family. The prices are affordable and reasonable and it has the best location.

Staff was very friendly and polite. The host, Leslie, was not there but she contacted me 3 times via telephone to find out if everything was still in order and if there was anything we needed, please do not hesitate to approach the staff.

Will definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

Genoeg koffie, tee, ontbytkos en beskuit vir ‘n lang kuier. Hoogs aanbeveelbaar. Gasvrou is een van die beste, nog nie so ‘n gasvrou ontmoet nie. Dit is waarde vir jou geld en hoogs aanbeveelbaar.

Hierdie is een van daardie raakloop bargains. Die gasvrou is so gemaklik soos familie, die bly plek is mooi en baie goed toegerus. Ligging is ideaal vir enige rigting inslaan, veilig en stil en die beste van alles is jy kan nie glo dat jy dit alles so beskostigbaar kon kry nie. Vir lesers is daar ook ‘n verskeidenheid leesstof. Dit was nou vir ons ‘n blessing.

Very kind accommodating people. Great place, very clean, extras were provided example cereals, dove soap, bubble bath etc. which was terrific.

The place its beautiful, the owners very nice and friendly. We slept here only 1 night, but we wished to stay for more days. Beautiful, neat house. I will really recommend this place to people.

Die eienaar was so vriendelik – sy het uit haar pad gegaan om te help met ons versoeke! Dit is naby aan die hoofweg en die geriewe is uitstekend vir gesin met klein kids.

As you enter the gate to this home, it feels as if you’ve stepped into a sanctuary away from the bustle of town. Adorned with tenderly cared for plants and flowers which attracts some beautiful birds, your surrounding feels nothing but peaceful. The home itself really is lovely, welcoming, clean, stylish, and comfortable. Couple that with the prime location, and you’ve really got a winner. Not to mention the fantastic customer service from Lesley which made us feel so incredibly looked after and welcome. We will definitely be back the next time business calls in JHB.

There were little extras that I have never experienced in a self catering unit before. Furnishings are very comfortable and homely. I will definitely return when needing accommodation in that area again.

This wonderful cottage is perfect for a holiday or business trip. Safe, secure, clean and comfortable it has everything you could need and more. The friendly host even stocked the kitchen with the basics! It is situated in a lovely area and has a beautiful garden. A home away from home. Highly recommended. I look forward to our next visit.

Baie dankie vir die wonderlike ervaring. Dit het absoluut gevoel soos om in jou eie huis te wees. Lesley is so vriendelik, behulpsaam en net amazing. Ons het dadelik tuis gevoel. Ons is bederf met lekker bederfies in die yskas (spesiaal vir ons uitgesoek) heerlike tuisgebakte beskuit en sjokolade en borrelskuim vir ‘n lekker lang bad na ‘n veeleisende dag. Ek beveel hierdie plekkie beslis aan en Lesley sien julle volgende jaar weer. Baie, baie dankie, julle is puik!

Leslie was an excellent hostess. Always checking if we needed anything. Good quality beverages, cereals, yogurt, juices.

Die “cottage” is lekker ruim om in te beweeg met alles wat jy nodig het in selfsorgeenheid met sout, koffie beskuit ens. Daar was ook lekker sappies youghurt en verversings in die yskas. Daar is 30 Seconds wat mens kan gebruik vir jou eie genot. Daar is ‘n tafeltjie buite op die stoep wat uitkyk oor ‘n lieflike tuin. Sal enige tyd weer daar tuisgaan.

Dit is een van die beste plekke waar ons nog tuis gegaan het. Baie vriendelik en professionele bedryf. Die gasvrou is ‘n mense- mens. Bedryf die blyplek uit haar liefde vir mense. Sou graag langer wou bly, of sal ek eerder sê, kuier.

Die plek is uniek en een van die beste waar ons nog gebly het. Die gasvrou het sowat 40% van die akkommodasie-gelde wat ons betaal het, teruggegee in die vorm van sjokolade, beskuit, melk, botter en margarine, ontbytkosse, lekker seep, ens., ens. Alles was uiters skoon en netjies en die televisie het vol DStv gehad. Plek is op hoë standaard. Lekker grasperk buite vir kinders om op te speel en daar is ‘n swembad ook. Enigste kritiek is dat die ingangspad nie te goed is nie, en diefwering by die voordeur is nie op standaard nie. Die gasvrou was uiters vriendelik en behulpsaam. Baie goeie waarde vir geld!

The place was neat, all channels present on TV. My wife loved the bedroom and bathroom. For me the lawn was good as we were able to play soccer with my son.
